What counts as an API call?
An API call is one artifact request: an Explain answer, a forecast, a simulation, a recommendation or a generated report section. Every call carries its source and audit trail.
Can I move from cloud to on-prem?
Yes. It is the same engine and the same API. You start in the EU cloud and later move to your data centre as an annual license, without rebuilding your integration.
How is the on-prem license calculated?
The prices shown are starting prices per year. The final annual license depends on departments, tenants, connectors and SLA tier; Sovereign/air-gapped is quoted individually. After a short scoping we put together a fixed package — with credited setup and an on-prem test phase before purchase.
Is the cloud GDPR and EU AI Act compliant?
Yes. Processing exclusively in the EU (Frankfurt), no training on your data, audit trail and provenance per output (Art. 12/13), DPA under Art. 28 GDPR.
Do I have to bring my own language model?
No. We ship a local model (Ollama/Qwen); alternatively you connect your own (OpenAI, Gemini, Perplexity). cNode is model-agnostic.
