How the app works

Everything important on one page: how to ask, how to recognise sourced answers, how tasks and specialist roles work, and what never happens without your approval.

Chat & sourced answers

Ask in your own words or name a goal. As soon as facts are involved, the source comes with them.

Start screen
A new chat shows what is new for you (e.g. a new transcript in Drive) and where something is still open in your chats. “Continue” opens the existing chat, “New chat” starts fresh and carries over a short summary.
Sourced label
Every answer says where it comes from: your memory, connected systems, the statutory text (with its date), web sources or the c:node Graph. If something is only a general assessment, it says so explicitly.
Sources & reasoning
One click opens the answer’s sources and the steps that led to it in the side panel. Tap a source to see its place in memory.
Audit trail
Export the path from source through reasoning to answer as a PDF – for audits or the file.
Input
Enter sends, Shift+Enter adds a new line. Use @ to pick a specific source and / for a task or specialist role. Attach files with the plus; they are read in full and cited as evidence.

Tasks, specialist roles & flows

Type / in the input field: every function in one place.

Tasks
What you want at the end, e.g. a memo, a briefing, a summary or an email draft. One task per message.
Specialist roles
Specialised agents, e.g. for research, legal or finance. Address one directly or hand an answer over to it (“What should the role focus on?”).
Flows
Pick several specialist roles at once and they work as a flow, one after another or in parallel. Running and finished flows are shown in the side panel.
Results
Generated documents appear on the right under “Results” and stay with the chat.

Memory

Your knowledge as a network: documents, messages, people, companies, projects, meetings and topics – with their connections.

Whole network
The overview shows the entire network at a glance, grouped by type. “Show whole network” always takes you back.
Zoom
Zooming in shows more: first the most important entries, close up all titles. Tap an entry to open its card; “Show neighbourhood” shows only its direct connections.
Search
Finds entries by title and content – in your knowledge and, depending on your plan, in the c:node Graph with market, legal and register knowledge.
Approve suggestions
c:node only suggests new connections. Under “Connections” you accept or reject them; rejected suggestions are remembered and not suggested again. For the shared organisation memory, the memory maintainers decide.

Library

All files and knowledge sources in one place.

Add
Upload files or fetch them from Drive, OneDrive, Gmail or the web. They are read and are then available as sources in chat.
Filter & search
Filter by origin (uploaded, Google Drive, OneDrive, Gmail attachment, created by c:node) or search the library directly.

Connectors

Connect your systems so that answers are also sourced from mail, calendar and file storage.

Connect
E.g. Google Workspace or Microsoft 365: sign in, confirm access, done. You always see what is connected and can disconnect it again.
Read-only until you approve
Connectors read in order to source answers. Writing (e.g. sending an email, creating a task in a system) only happens through an approval.
In the sandbox
In the public sandbox, connectors are visible but locked – there you work with a website, text and files.

Tasks & planning

To-dos from chats, transcripts and flows – clearly in one place.

Overview
All, Mine, Team or Due (overdue or due by the end of this week). Filter by status: open, in progress, blocked, done.
Push to a system
Tasks can be transferred to a connected system – as a proposal that is only carried out with your approval.

Approvals

Nothing with an external effect without your explicit approval.

How it works
If something is to leave your organisation or change another system – an email, a meeting, a task, a comment – c:node prepares a draft and shows an approval card. Only “Approve” carries it out.
Who approves
Only the person the draft was prepared for can approve it. Open approvals also appear in your notifications.

Sharing & visibility

Every chat has a visibility; change it via “Share”.

Private
Visible only to you. Every new chat starts this way.
Team
Everyone in your team, plus people you add.
Org
Everyone in the organisation.
Public link
Anyone with the link can read the chat, even without an account. Sources from your workspace stay behind the login.

Models

c:node is model-agnostic: the evidence comes from your sources, not from the model.

Gemini
Default in the cloud and in the sandbox, hosted in the EU – included in every plan. An answer with Gemini Flash counts 1× in the allowance, with Gemini Pro 2×.
Claude
Included from Professional, together with “Thorough” mode; an answer with Claude counts 2×, in Thorough mode 3×. In the cloud you need no key of your own – own API keys exist only in the Enterprise plan on a dedicated instance or on-prem.
Local · own GPU
In the Enterprise plan, an open-weights model (e.g. Qwen) runs on your own or a dedicated GPU; nothing leaves your organisation. An answer counts 1×.
Choice
Pick the model in the input field or let “Auto” decide. A model can be fixed for individual specialist roles; if it fails, c:node switches to an available one (except for the local model).

Account & privacy

One account for all c:node services – with all legal texts and consents in one place.

Security & compliance
Shows where your data is stored, what you have agreed to and what c:node may use. Keys and credentials are stored encrypted and never shown in plain text.
Consents
Terms of use and privacy policy are shown in their current version; voluntary consents (e.g. news by email) can be changed at any time.
Export, deactivate, delete
In your account you can export your data or deactivate or delete the account. Deletion becomes final after 30 days; signing in before then cancels it.
