Memory at a glance#
Memory now has the same brain icon everywhere – in the sidebar, in the mobile menu and at the top of the memory view – so it is quicker to find.
New features, improvements and fixes across the app, c:node Graph, website and billing – newest first.
RSS feedMemory now has the same brain icon everywhere – in the sidebar, in the mobile menu and at the top of the memory view – so it is quicker to find.
Drafts that c:node writes for you now carry a short notice: “Created with the help of c:node (AI).” You see it on the approval card before you approve, so recipients can tell that AI was involved.
Technical logs no longer contain search texts or keys, and IP addresses are shortened. Credentials of your connected connectors are stored with stronger encryption, and deleting an account now also removes its connections and approvals.
The Baden-Württemberg building code (LBO BW) is now in the c:node Graph – taken from the official Baden-Württemberg law gazette, with a citation for every section. Questions about building projects in BW are now evidenced directly from the statute.
A few newly imported judgments carried the identifier of a different case. We removed them from the c:node Graph and now check new judgments against their case number before importing them.
c-node.ai now has use cases for banking & finance, insurance, life sciences, municipalities and municipal data centres – with sample cases and real legal bases. Also new: the partner programme with four guides – knowledge layer via API and MCP, embedded chat, white-label and reseller.
What c:node is, what it costs and how to get started – a few pages as a PDF, one edition each for municipalities, data centres, mid-sized companies, life sciences, banks, insurers and IT providers. Find them at c-node.ai/booklets and in the footer.
Besides Google and the email code, you can now sign in to c:node with your Microsoft work account – sign in once and it works across all c:node services and your organisation's workspaces.
In your workspaces you can now connect Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 yourself. Connect Confluence and Jira with your email, an API token and your Atlassian address; c:node then searches pages and tickets and cites every hit as a source. Sign-in runs through the shared c:node account.
Ask about VAT, percentages, interest or a loan instalment and c:node calculates it right away in the calculation engine – without AI, traceable and with the calculation steps. Follow-ups such as “and at 7 %?” carry on directly. Available in all plans.
Ask about the management or board of a company and c:node can name its officers from the c:node Graph – with source and date. Older register data is marked as historical, and if several companies share a name, c:node asks which one you mean. The feature is being rolled out step by step.
c:node only marks an answer as evidenced when a source actually backs it. If a legal text cannot be retrieved at the moment, c:node says so openly instead of quoting from memory. And c:node only says it has calculated something when a calculation actually ran.
In German, c:node now uses the informal singular “du” in private chats and the plural “ihr” in team and organisation chats – consistently across answers, hints and suggestions.
When c:node writes an email for you, the draft appears right in the chat so you can review it. It is only sent once you explicitly approve it.
c:node understands better what you are after: weekly planning stays planning, deadlines from building regulations are answered as legal questions, and funding questions no longer return unrelated hits. If there is no matching regional programme, c:node says so openly. Context is kept across interim questions.
The new Cockpit shows at a glance what matters right now – approvals, tasks and projects, deadlines, agent runs and calculation results. The cards adapt to your organisation. “My view” shows your own work, “Organisation” the full picture. Every row leads straight to the original, and a status report sums up the week and can be exported.
When a regulation from the c:node Graph fits what you are working on, c:node points it out with source and official link. A daily hint, “Today for you”, sums up what is new for your work since yesterday. “View” takes you straight there, and you can adjust hints in the settings.
The c:node Graph now covers the key rules for medical devices, diagnostics, medicinal products and biotechnology – including the MDR, IVDR, the Clinical Trials Regulation, the European Health Data Space and the German MPDG, AMG and Genetic Engineering Act. Answers come with evidence from the original text.
Emails with your sign-in code end up in spam less often, arrive in your language and clearly state what they are for. The code now only appears in the email itself, no longer in the subject line.
Upload a spreadsheet or use figures from the chat – c:node maps the columns and calculates in the calculation engine, not in the language model. A calculation card walks you step by step through data, assumptions and result, and the calculation remains traceable. Statistical forecasts are available from the Professional plan.
Any calculation run can produce a chart right in the chat. The Word export includes the charts and notes whether a document is still a draft or already approved. Municipalities get ready-made templates, for example for childcare demand or procurement.
c:node follows references in the conversation more reliably – “about that”, “as above” or “do it” now point to the right thing, and after every answer c:node suggests useful next steps. Evidence is checked per statement: if only part is supported, the answer says “Partly evidenced” instead of giving a blanket verdict.
Before c:node uses a language model or web search, names and other personal data are pseudonymised; when calculating, your cell values stay in the calculation engine. c:node never repeats passwords, API keys or tokens from your documents.
c:node infers from context whether German, Austrian, Swiss or EU law is meant, and answers comparative questions per jurisdiction. Repealed provisions no longer feed into answers. The c:node Graph now also includes the German Federal Building Code, Land Use Ordinance and Regional Planning Act.
The sidebar and overlays now move consistently and calmly. The right sidebar always shows the same four sections, with filters and one shared search. You close overlays with the back arrow on the left; on smartphones, close and back sit in fixed positions.
The chat sidebar now has three sections: Results, Tasks & approvals and Sources. It lists everything created in the chat – c:node results, Google Docs and Sheets, email drafts, calendar events and tasks, each with a link. The list stays there after a reload.
When several approvals are waiting, they are stacked in the chat; the next one opens once you have decided. After every approval or rejection, c:node confirms what actually happened and suggests the next step.
When you ask for a plan or a concept, c:node writes a first draft straight away instead of asking first. Anything still missing is marked [OPEN]. Say “as a result” and c:node creates the result directly.
c:node creates tasks for your team and assigns them itself. You see them first as an approval card; nothing is created until you approve.
The start page greets you personally and leads straight to what’s new. “Need help?” takes you to the new help page. Onboarding is now aligned at the top, so it is easier to follow.
A new help page under Docs explains how the app works: chat and evidenced answers, Memory, connectors, approvals, models and more.
The areas of c:node Graph appear in Memory with the real number of terms they contain. While c:node Graph is loading, an animation shows that it is on its way.
On your phone, every sheet can now be swiped. The Memory sheet has three heights, “Share chat” is more compact and the feedback tab is labelled.
When the app starts and on every page change, the c:node logo spins until the page has fully loaded.
Almost every term in c:node Graph now has a type and a readable name, such as “§ 768 ZPO — Klage gegen Vollstreckungsklausel”; duplicate entries have been merged. 38 more laws are available in full text, including the ZPO and the Basic Law (GG). Art. 20 GG and other articles of the Basic Law are found as articles.
Every statement in an answer now carries its own citation, and c:node checks the citations again after writing. Case numbers, ECLIs, TED tenders and HRB register numbers are looked up exactly instead of searching for similar matches.
Ask in German, English or French and c:node answers in the same language.
The German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) is now part of c:node Graph. c:node answers questions on energy law with evidence straight from the act.
Memory now shows the whole network from the start. Zoomed out you see clusters and the main connections, zoomed in the titles, and a click opens the details. Search highlights the matches. You no longer get an empty page.
Choose between Gemini, Claude (from Professional) and a local open-weights model running on your own GPU (for Enterprise and on-premises).
c:node Graph responds faster and stays stable under load. Continuous health monitoring alerts us to problems right away.
Questions on case law are now answered from c:node Graph first: rulings of the BGH and the CJEU, guidance and topic clusters appear as evidence in the answer. Web research only supplements it and is added after the answer, so you don’t wait for it. It shows at most three relevant web sources with their real titles.
Your message appears in the chat instantly and the first steps stream right away. c:node answers greetings directly, and the c:node Graph lookup runs in parallel with the rest of the preparation.
In the “+” menu you pick up to four agents and decide whether they work one after another or in parallel. Each result appears under “Results” with its own evidence. External actions still need your approval. In answers, the avatar shows which agent is speaking.
On every paid plan you can browse and search c:node Graph right inside Memory, within your plan’s limits. c:node suggests links between your own documents and c:node Graph as a grouped review; nothing is written without your approval. Admins can switch the feature on or off per workspace.
The mode menu shows which model is answering, with the provider’s logo; on-premises models are marked “local”. Status texts during an answer match what is actually happening, and the reasoning under “Sources” shows the real steps.
Light, dark or system: one setting now applies to the app, billing and sign-in. The header and composer are slightly translucent, and on mobile the header fits on one line. Next steps appear as suggestions instead of inline buttons, and results reliably stay in the side panel.
Under “Legal texts & consents” you see which versions you agreed to and when; you can withdraw newsletter consent at any time. You can deactivate your account or delete it, with a 30-day grace period on deletion. You can export your data yourself.
In Copilot Studio you now set up the connection to c:node via dynamic discovery: sign-in with OAuth, without registering a client first. The manual client and API keys keep working. The steps are in the API and MCP docs.
Starter and Research keys now include legal content. /v1/health returns the running version, and rate limits apply more precisely per key. Only the Contract API is billed per answer.
With claude mcp add --transport http --scope user cnode https://mcp.c-node.ai/mcp you connect c:node to Claude Code and sign in with your c:node account. The guide for Claude, Claude Code and Copilot Studio is in the API and MCP docs.
You now reach c:node via MCP at one URL: https://mcp.c-node.ai/mcp. Which tools Claude, Copilot or your agents see depends on your plan, your role and the permissions you grant when signing in; you choose the workspace on the consent page. Approvals now only happen in c:node: via MCP, c:node creates drafts and gives you the link to the approval card. The previous URLs keep working until 5 January 2027.
Professional costs €490 a month with 5 seats included, each additional seat €59. It comes with 5,000 evidenced answers a month for the team, connectors with continuous sync, the context graph and meeting follow-up. The annual licence costs €4,900, two months are free. Starter stays at €49 per seat with 1,000 evidenced answers. In the app and via MCP, usage up to 150 % of the allowance is included; after that, answers pause until next month or an upgrade. All prices excl. VAT.
Exported artifacts now carry the c:node logo in the header. Numbered lists and sources render cleanly line by line.
Every specialist agent now has its own portrait with an AI-agent badge – in the chat, the agent list and the side panel.
Find new features right in the app: a dot in the account menu shows when something is new since your last look.
How c:node brings together client file, commercial register, transparency register and sanctions lists – every step evidenced for supervisors and audit.
On iPhones the top of the page could slip under the header. The website and the c:node Graph now scroll cleanly all the way up again.
Every chat is private, visible to your team or to the whole organisation. Switch it with one click in the chat header. In team chats you see, with profile pictures, who asked what. Upload your own profile picture.
Share chats and artifacts via a read-only link. Sources stay clickable in the shared chat. Export results as a c:node-branded PDF or save them as an email draft in your connected mailbox.
Saved artifacts now live in the library. Filter them by visibility and delete what you no longer need. In a chat, artifacts open in the side panel.
Teams, invitations, roles and sharing within your team come with Professional and above. Connectors: Starter up to 3, Professional up to 10, Enterprise all. A read-only share link is included in every plan.
Pay yearly and get two months free. Choose the billing interval right in the checkout.
Add or remove seats or switch plans yourself in your account. You see the prorated amount before every change. When buying, you choose the number of seats right away.
Enter your domain on c-node.ai. c:node builds a situation report on opportunities, obligations, funding and competition – with footnotes and a source list. On request it arrives as a PDF by email.
Two new comparison pages show where each tool is strong and where evidenced answers make the difference. All comparisons are now collected in the comparison hub, each with an FAQ.
The pricing page now shows seats, team features and connectors per plan in one table with a sticky header. The cost calculator is simpler.
Chat now uses the full width and tables are easier to read. The input has a large mode for long texts and templates for frequent questions. Details, agents, artifacts and files sit as tabs next to the chat, with search.
On your phone, chat runs full screen and all menu items sit behind one menu button. Your language choice now applies across website, app, account and billing.
When c:node researches the web, a badge tells you so. Every web source is linked as evidence.
We further hardened sign-in, interfaces and the MCP connection. Nothing changes for you.
Sign in once with your c:node account and you are signed in to the app, sandbox, billing, c:node Graph and the website. Use an email code or Google.
After purchase, your organisation gets its own workspace with a shared memory. What you built in the sandbox comes along on your first sign-in.
Invite members, assign roles and see how many seats are in use. Need more seats? Buy them right away. Invitees receive an email.
Connect c:node to Claude and sign in with your c:node account. For your own tools and agents, your organisation creates API keys in the settings. Via MCP you ask questions, call agents and approve actions.
c:node hands sub-questions to the right specialist agents and combines their results. You can follow every step. Agents use your uploads and connectors. They only suggest calendar events: nothing goes out without your approval.
Pick the language model right in the input or let c:node choose automatically. If a model is unavailable, c:node switches to another suitable one and says so in the reasoning trail. Your own agents can have their own model.
Sources and reasoning trail are still there when you reopen a chat later. Sources carry readable names. A connected Google Drive returns hits right in the chat.
A connector only counts as active once it is really connected. You see at a glance which systems c:node is reading.
On the website, in the app and in your account you can send us feedback directly: a rating, the area, a few words.
Buy Starter and Professional online, billed per seat. Manage invoices, payment method, seats and cancellation in the customer portal. After purchase you go straight to the app.
22 connectors now have their own pages: what c:node reads and how answers are evidenced. Plus comparisons with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise and Glean, and an Insights section with research and articles.
Our market graph of law, registers and markets is now called c:node Graph – with its own wordmark, sign-in via your c:node account and a new landing page in three languages.
The c:node shell is open on GitHub. Run it yourself or download it as a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux.
Describe the agent you need in the chat and c:node sets it up. Adjust its mission, role and tools in the settings. Copy built-in agents and tailor them to your needs.
Type “/” for commands or “@” for agents and pick with the arrow keys. Use “@team” to ask several agents at once.
The sandbox now speaks three languages and is optimised for phones. The limits of the free version are shown right in the interface.
Try c:node without installing anything: sign in with an email code or Google and get your own workspace with its own memory.
Requests and feedback go straight to the product team – or try the latest right away in the free sandbox.
