c:node or Langdock?

Langdock is an AI platform from Berlin for the whole company – chat, agents and workflows with models from many providers. c:node sets a different focus: it connects your organisation with law, registers and market and checks every statement against its source.

Langdock fits if …

you want a broad AI platform for all employees – chat, agents and automations with models you can mix and match – and the answers don’t each have to be evidenced.

c:node fits if …

your questions go beyond your own organisation – law, registers, sanctions lists, public tenders – and every answer has to be evidenced, on-prem up to air-gapped if you wish.

How do c:node and Langdock differ?

Langdock is an AI platform for the whole company: chat, agents and workflows with models from many providers. c:node is a Company Brain: it connects your knowledge with law, registers and market and checks every statement against its source.

When does which tool fit?

Langdock fits if you want a broad AI platform for all employees and the answers don’t each have to be evidenced. c:node fits if answers have to hold up before internal audit, regulators or a court – with citations in your documents and in applicable law.

What is an evidenced answer?

An answer with a citation and a check result: c:node checks every statement against its source – in your documents or in the c:node Graph – and marks anything it cannot evidence as open. You can see what you can rely on and where someone still needs to take a look.

Can we use c:node in Langdock?

Yes, via MCP. Langdock can connect external MCP servers in agents and chat – your team stays in Langdock and gets evidenced answers from c:node where it matters. The c:node Graph is available via MCP on every plan, questions to your workspace from Starter and the full scope with library, agents, tasks and drafts from Professional; the setup is described in the API and MCP docs.

Both are based in Europe – how do they differ in deployment?

According to the vendor, Langdock runs as SaaS on Microsoft Azure in the EU; Langdock offers its own-cloud and on-prem options for large enterprise installations. c:node runs in your own tenant in the EU cloud in Frankfurt, in your data centre or – on the Enterprise plan – completely without internet (air-gapped) with open models on your servers.

Which AI models can be used?

Both are model-agnostic. Langdock offers models from many providers, also with your own API keys. With c:node, you decide which models are permitted – large models via API or open models on your servers. The check against the source stays the same with every model.

Is c:node ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certified like Langdock?

Not yet. Langdock lists ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II; c:node is building these certifications up in parallel. Until then, we are happy to go through your requirements directly with your IT security and data protection teams.
