vs.Claude

c:node or Claude?

Claude is a strong AI assistant for teams – with connectors to your tools and search across your company knowledge. c:node is the Company Brain that knows your organisation – and everything out there: your systems plus law, registers and market, every answer with its source. The two can be combined.

Both together

c:node as a tool in Claude.

Claude can connect custom connectors via remote MCP – on the Team and Enterprise plans, the owner adds them in the organisation settings. That way you bring c:node into Claude as a tool: your team keeps working in Claude, the evidenced answers come from c:node.

FAQ

What to know about c:node and Claude.

Anything else? Write to us.

Does c:node replace Claude?

Not necessarily. Many teams use Claude as a versatile assistant for writing, analysis and research and c:node for questions where every statement has to be evidenced. You can combine both: via MCP, you bring c:node into Claude as a tool and your team stays in Claude.

What is the main difference?

Claude is a general-purpose assistant that can also access your tools through connectors. c:node answers questions across your systems and matches them against the c:node Graph – laws, commercial register, sanctions lists, public tenders. Every statement is checked against its source, anything unevidenced is marked as open.

What is an evidenced answer?

An answer with a citation and a check result: c:node checks every statement against its source – in your documents or in the c:node Graph – and marks anything it cannot evidence as open. You can see what you can rely on and where someone still needs to take a look.

How do we bring c:node into Claude?

Claude can connect custom connectors via remote MCP; on the Team and Enterprise plans, the owner adds them in the organisation settings. Claude then calls c:node as a tool and gets evidenced answers with citations back. The c:node Graph is available via MCP on every plan, questions to your workspace from Starter and the full scope with library, agents, tasks and drafts from Professional; the setup is described in the API and MCP docs.

Does c:node also use Claude models?

Yes, if you allow them. c:node is model-agnostic and works with Claude, GPT, Gemini, Mistral and open models – you decide which ones are permitted. The check against the source stays the same with every model.

Which systems can c:node connect to?

The Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace connectors are ready to use; Lexware, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Personio and others are set up for you by our connection team on request. Any other system with an API can be connected.

Where is our data stored?

With Claude, according to Anthropic, in the Anthropic cloud, stored in the US; for the API, EU regions are available via cloud partners such as AWS and Google Cloud. c:node runs in your own tenant in the EU cloud in Frankfurt, in your data centre or completely without internet (air-gapped).

How much does c:node cost?

The sandbox is free and needs no sign-up. Starter costs €49 per seat and month (one person, up to 3 connectors), Professional €490 per month with 5 seats included, each additional seat €59 (team features, up to 10 connectors with continuous sync, MCP access), Enterprise from €1,500 per month (all connectors, on-prem up to air-gapped). Universities and research institutes use the Research plan free of charge after verification. All prices excl. VAT.
